IIC-15 Logo

The IIC-15 logo is set on a gangsa, the traditional instrument used by Igorots, with the handle placed on top of the circle. The outer circle of the gong spells out the bi-annual event name "Igorot International Consultation" (also known as "IIC"). The inset inner circle contains iconography on the top half, with silhouette of palm trees and downtown skyline representing the city of Los Angeles, while a "bulul" (rice guardian) signifying the Igorots who live in/around the metropolis, is embedded in that skyline. The iconic L.A. silhouette of the U.S. Bank Tower sits in the middle. The bottom half of the inset states the Roman numerals "XV" – referencing the 15th iteration of the IIC, as the host city "Los Angeles" swoops across below it. The 3 motion dashes at the bottom of the inner circle signifies aspiration and always moving forward as a community.

IIC-15 logo created by Dale Basingat and Mike Wandag. They also created the IIC-6 logo for held in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia.
